Representatives of Tax Administrations of the Region Meet in Ljubljana

The Tax Administration of Slovenia was hosted a meeting of the B6 Group on October 5 2011, while on October 6 - 7 2011 at the premises of the Center of Excellence in Finance of the Republic of Slovenia organised the Conference for Senior Tax Officials from South East Europe. 

The meeting of the B6 Group was organised for heads of Tax Administrations from ex-Yugoslav Republics, for exchnage of experience and determination of further activities within the agreement on mutual cooperation, which enables more efficient exchange of information, fight against tax frauds and shadow economy.

 The Conference for Senior Tax Officials from South East Europe  was organised by the International Monetary Fund and Center of Excellence in Finance for addressing the challenges Tax Administrations of teh region are facing with, as well as mid-term and long-term development plans. It was concluded that further modernization and strenghtening of capacities in Administrations participating the Conference are crucial for their functioning in line with EU standards.
